Daniel Francis Geuder, 72, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away Friday, February 22, 2019, in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

He was born January 15, 1947 in Olean, NY, son of the late A. John Geuder and Eva (Colestro) Geuder.

After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Crane Naval Depot, retiring after over 30 plus years of service.

A 1964 graduate of Aurora High School, Dan was instrumental in establishing and maintaining the Aurora High School Museum and the “Devils Den”, a gathering place for AHS alumni at the Aurora Farmers Fair.

Dan lived life to the fullest. He was a pilot, a guitar player, a DJ, a classic car buff and a tech enthusiast. He also enjoyed ballroom dancing, karaoke and collecting music.

Dan is survived by his siblings, Jon (Lois) Geuder of Seymour, IN, Paula (Roy) Bolling of Moores Hill, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Tom Geuder.

Friends will be received Friday, March 1, 2019, 11:30 a.m. until time for the service at 1:30 p.m. at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, Indiana with Pastor Larry Campbell officiating.

Interment will follow in the Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
