Mrs. Wilma F. Richart, 90, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 peacefully at her home with her children by her side. She was born in Hayden to the late Charles and Clara (Megel) Carr.

Funeral Mass will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Saturday, February 16 at 1 pm with Father Dan Staublin assisted by Deacon Mike East. Burial will follow at Four Corners Cemetery in Hayden.

Family and friends may call at St. Ambrose Catholic Church on Saturday from 9 am until time of service.

Wilma was a retired dairy farmer. She was a member of Hayden Historical Society. She was an avid gardener and seamstress. She enjoyed baking and canning and was famous for her angel food cakes. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wilma and her grandson, Jordan, had been working on a book about her life story; they had just finished proofreading the book this weekend.

She is survived by her children, Larry Richart, Elaine (Dave) Pollert, Kevin (Terrie Allman) Richart and Clare (Cody Williams) Nichalson; grandchildren, Carrie (Jason) Smith, Darin (Kayla) Richart, Allison (Ashley) Richart, Jordan (Erica) Richart and Christina (Billy) Black; and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald J. Richart; granddaughter, Christen Pollert; and siblings, Laura Sandhage, Mabel Etter, Bertha Wood, and Henry Carr.

Memorials may be written to Schneck Hospice, St. Ambrose Catholic Church or Hayden Historical Society, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
