Due to extremely cold temperatures, the United States Postal Service has suspended delivery in Jackson County for Wednesday, Jan. 30.

The county is among communities across the state and Midwest that will not receive mail.

“Due to this arctic outbreak and concerns for the safety of USPS employees, the Postal Service is suspending delivery,” a statement from the postal service read.
