Crop production workshop planned in Seymour

A crop production workshop is set for Feb. 6 at The Pines Evergreen Room, 4289 N. U.S. 31, Seymour.

Bill Johnson, a weed scientist at Purdue University, will give an herbicide and weed control update, while Fred Whitford with Purdue’s pesticide programs will speak about putting the sprayer on the road.

Credits have been applied for private applicator re-certification ($10 fee), commercial pesticide applicator license and certified crop consultant.

A complimentary meal will be served at noon.

Registrations, required by Friday, will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the program starting at 9 a.m.
