Tigers drop first SAC contest

ELIZABETH

South Central topped Crothersvillle 64-53 Friday in a key Southern Athletic Conference game.

The Rebels (6-6, 3-0 SAC) led 34-22 at halftime before going toe-to-toe with the Tigers in the final 16 minutes.

Logan Brewer led the Tigers (6-7, 2-1 SAC) with 22 points and Josh Thomas chipped in 17.

The Tigers will host Trinity Lutheran Friday.
