Police who went to a North Vernon residence looking for a woman wanted on three warrants wound up arresting her and a man who tried to conceal her in the home.

During the incident reported at 11:20 a.m. Friday at a residence in the 400 block of South State Street, North Vernon police reported finding and arresting Deanna Daniel, 28, of North Vernon on two Level 6 felony warrants along with a misdemeanor warrant.

Roger Cumberworth Jr., 26, of Butlerville also was arrested on Level 6 felony charges of assisting a criminal and obstruction of justice for attempting to hide Daniel.

Daniel was booked into the Jennings County Jail on Friday and was being held on a $8,265 bond, while Cumberworth was booked into the jail and being held on a $1,055 bond.
