Richard and Jane Tormoehlen of Seymour will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Jan. 20 with an open house given by their children from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lutheran Central School in Brownstown.

Richard and the former Jane Pilman were married Jan. 18, 1959, at St. John’s Lutheran Church Sauers. The Rev. Alvin Mueller officiated.

They are the parents of four children, Gregory (Susan) Tormoehlen, Debra Goodman, Lisa (Jim) Baker and Karen (Daryl) Pogue. They have eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jane is retired from Brownstown Equipment, formerly B&T Sales & Service.

Richard worked at Pardieck’s Sales & Service and Brownstown Repair Shop before going into business for himself.
