The Brownstown Public Library board of trustees plans to meet in executive session to discuss personnel at 5 p.m. Jan. 15 in the conference room of the library, 120 E. Spring St., Brownstown.

Executive sessions are closed to the public and press.

The library’s board of finance will meet in a public session at 5:10 p.m. that day to elect a president and secretary, designate the newspapers in which the library shall advertise public notices and receive the investment officer’s report.

The board’s regular meeting, also open to the public, will then begin at 5:20 p.m. Agenda items include discussion of approval for financial reports; reviews of the cash flow and appropriation expenditure reports; a review of policies 702 and 703; and consideration of a resolution transferring unused operating funds into the rainy day fund.
