The 37th annual Seymour Noon Lions Club Special Olympics Basketball Tournament is slated for Saturday and the service group is looking for volunteers to help.

The tournament is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at Seymour Middle School, 920 N. O’Brien St., and Boys and Girls Club of Seymour, 950 N. O’Brien St.

Volunteers are needed to help operate the scoreboard, game clock or officiating.

Nearly 35 teams will compete, and Jackson County will have a five-on-five team, a three-on-three men’s team and a three-on-three women’s team.

The public is invited to attend the games for free, and concessions will be available to purchase.
