Cougars wallop winless Warriors on road

NEW ALBANY

Trinity Lutheran overpowered host Christian Academy of Indiana in Thursday night’s game, winning 62-13.

The visiting Cougars (8-3) outscored the Warriors (0-12) 21-2 in the first quarter and led 32-6 at halftime.

Trinity outscored Christian Academy 17-3 in the third quarter and was able to get a variety of players some minutes the rest of the way.

Sydney Jaynes led Trinity with 15 points, followed by Hannah Sabotin with 13 points and nine rebounds, Savannah Harweger with 11 points and Lauren Fleetwood with 10.

The Warriors only had two players score in the game.
