Junior Duck classes coming to refuge

0

Any student who enjoys art and would like to learn to draw a duck is invited to the visitor center at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge on one or more Saturday mornings in January for Junior Duck classes.

The classes will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. and are free of charge.

All materials for students will be provided, and they may enter their completed drawing in the Indiana Junior Duck Stamp Contest. Since space is limited, advance registration is required and may be made by emailing [email protected] or calling 812-522-4352, ext. 12.

The Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest is open to all students in kindergarten through 12th grade and is a Conservation through Art contest designed to promote learning about waterfowl and wetland habitat.
