The congregation of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church invites the public to attend the first Sunday service at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, 550 W. County Road 975N, Seymour.

The service is entitled "Christmas in the Country."

The program will be provided by the Scattertack Band from Hayden. The group members include Pat Sullivan, Penny Sullivan, Susie Barlow, Trina Tracy, Eric Jarboe and Al Hochstetler. Scattertack is an acoustic group composed of duclimers, hammer dulcimer, guitar and bass.

The service also will include congregational singing of Christmas hymns, testimonies and prayer for the sick.

A time of food and fellowship will follow the service.
