Dennis M. Fields, 73, of North Vernon, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2018 at his home. Born February 23, 1945 in Crothersville, IN, he was the son of Lummie and Bonnie (Shoemaker) Fields, who are both deceased. Dennis served in the United States Airforce during the Vietnam War. Dennis married Wanda (Craig) Fields on July 3, 1975, who passed away on June 21, 2003. He retired from Cummins Engine Company in Seymour, IN. Dennis enjoyed vacationing in Florida and reading. He was a very active church member at Victory Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Laurel Fields of Indianapolis, IN, one brother Douglas Fields of Crothersville, IN, and one niece, Lisa Fields of Seymour, IN. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Fields. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 1, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Crothersville, with private graveside services at Crothersville Cemetery.
