Lanny Ray “Razor” Edwards, 60, of Scipio passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

He was born in Seymour on June 12, 1958, to Doyle and Betty Silence Edwards.

On Feb. 11, 2005, in Paris Crossing, he married Lynn Stanfield. She survives.

Razor worked for the city of Seymour for more than 20 years. Razor enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing in softball leagues and was an avid golfer. He even accomplished a couple of holes-in-one. Razor enjoyed doing anything outdoors, from camping to hunting to fishing.

He was a member of the Eagles and attended United Christian Church in Paris Crossing.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Edwards; wife, Lynn Edwards; and children, Tyler Edwards and Ashley (Patrick) Easter.

He was preceded in death by his father, Doyle Lee Edwards.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour with the Rev. Damon Marling and Brother J.B. Mills officiating. Burial will follow at Cana Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
