The Brownstown Area Ministerial Association is preparing to deliver free Thanksgiving food baskets to those in need this season.

Food baskets will be assembled at 9 a.m. Monday in the fellowship hall at Brownstown First Baptist Church, 1095 S. State Road 135.

The association is in need of food donations and names for basket deliveries.

For food donations or names of people needing a basket in western Jackson County, call Pastor Floyd Fisher of Kurtz Church of the Nazarene at 812-498-4880; in the Vallonia area, call Pastor Chris Criminger of Vallonia Christian Church at 812-521-2585; and in the Brownstown area, call any local church or the director of the Thanksgiving food basket program, Bill Ireland, at 812-521-1620.
