Sorority set for holiday craft market

Epsilon Sigma Alpha Beta Kappa chapter has finalized plans for its 28th annual Holidays’ Arts & Crafts Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 17 at the American Legion Annex, 414 W. Second St., Seymour.

Lunch, drinks, snacks and desserts will be served by the American Legion Auxiliary throughout the day.

The American Legion Annex will be filled with more than 45 tables of crafts of all types.

Crafts available will include handmade jewelry and snaps; quilted items, including purses; hand-painted Christmas and country items, including horseshoe art; baked goods; jams and jellies; homemade fudge; candies and brittle with different nuts; and homemade noodles.

There also will be Christmas decorations of all kinds, hand-loomed rugs, painted wooden decorations, children’s books, handmade doll clothes, ceramics, a book and prints by a local author from the Vallonia area, children’s clothing and hair bows, custom pens and handmade dog toys and treats.

Scentsy, Pink Zebra and Thirty-One vendors will be there, too.

Beta Kappa is a service organization that dedicates its efforts to learning and helping children will illnesses and disabilities. Funds from this show will be donated to Anna’s Celebration of Life, an organization in Indiana that provides supports to children with disabilities throughout the state.
