BROWNSTOWN

Jackson W. Eastin, 79, formerly of Dade City, Florida, passed away on November 7, 2018 at the Hoosier Christian Village.

He was born on June 13, 1939, in Brownstown, Indiana to George C. and Anne B. Eastin

He attended Brownstown school system graduating in 1957. He attended Purdue University for 2 years.

On September 15,1968, he married Margaret Paris, who passed away in February 2005. He was also predeceased by a son, Clint.

Jack spent his entire career working on construction inspection and supervision. He worked in Indiana, Illinois, Texas and Florida.

He retired in 2005 from United Consulting Engineers, at which time he moved to Florida.

He enjoyed golf, fishing and reading.

Cremation will be handled by the Indiana Cremation Society.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, at 11 a.m. at Brownstown Christian Church.

He is survived by a son Tracy Eastin, brothers Dale Eastin (Dixie), of The Villages, Florida, and Tom Eastin of Jeffersonville, Indiana, and a sister Rosalie Eckley (Randy), of Brownsburg, Indiana, two favorite cousins Frank(Cheryl) Wilson and Vera Wilson, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and several nieces and nephews.
