Circle of Friends storytime is from 3:30 to 4 p.m. Dec. 5 and 12 and Jan. 9, 16, 23 and 30 at the Brownstown Public Library, 120 E. Spring St.

This program is for children ages 2 to 6. A library staff member will come to the children’s department to let children know it is time for the program. Each week, children will be introduced to a different theme through a combination of stories, songs, finger plays and crafts.

Children who attend this program should be able to color and use glue sticks independently.

A parent or guardian must attend storytime with children under 3 to assist with finger plays and craft projects. Parents and guardians must remain in the building with all children under 5.

All of the children will be escorted back to the children’s department at the end of the program.

If Brownstown Central Community School Corp. closes because of weather, all children’s programming will be canceled.
