The Brownstown Central Community School Corp. board of trustees will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the superintendent’s office, 608 W. Commerce St., Brownstown.
Students of the Month will be recognized, followed by a middle school presentation.
The board also will consider the 2018-19 collective bargaining agreement, administrator stipends and salary adjustments, classified employee stipends and salary adjustments and a revision in the classified employee handbook.
There also will be readings and considerations of an anti-harassment statement and revisions to an ethics policy, personal background checks, a criminal history information policy for applicants and contractors and a criminal history check policy for school employees.
Also on the agenda are resolutions to establish an education fund and an operations fund and establish initial funding for both, approval to purchase two 72-passenger buses and two 14-passenger mini buses for 2019, approval of the 2019 board calendar and principal reports.
At 6:30 p.m., there will be an executive session, closed to the public and press, to receive information about prospective employees and discuss individuals over whom the governing body has jurisdiction and discussion of strategy with respect to collective bargaining.
