Rachael Shaw, a Democratic candidate for Jennings County clerk, began her medical leave from the Paris Crossing post office on June 23. Shaw agreed to become a candidate for office in the November general election two days later. Due to a Republic error, the sequence of events was incorrect in a news story in Thursday’s edition of The Tribune.
