Mr. Cecil Leonard Stewart Sr., 75, of Seymour passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in Virginia on December 1, 1942 to the late Hubert and Illa (Fleenor) Stewart.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, September 22 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Kelly Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

He was retired from Cummins Engine Company. He was a great caregiver to his wife, Virginia. He was a great dad to his 7 kids and loved his grandkids.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday from 12 noon until time of service.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Stewart; children, Cecil Stewart II, Julie Christie, Tammy Edwards, Rhonda (Norman) Pike, Lisa (Ronnie) Branaman, and Bonnie (Jimmy) Davidson; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Leonard Stewart; 1 grandson; 2 great-grandsons; and siblings, Marvin, Hershel, Walter and Anna Mae.
