Tribune advertising team receives 21 awards

The Tribune’s advertising team, led by Tracie Lane, returned to Seymour with 21 awards from the Hoosier State Press Association Best in Newspaper Advertising contest Friday at Indianapolis Marriott North.

The team won nine first-place awards, six second-place awards and six third-place awards. The Tribune competes in the Small Newspapers division.

First-place awards went to:

Garden, Yard and Farm: 4-H Thank You (Julie Daiker and Sally Lawson)

Residential Services: Window World (Daiker and Lane)

Classified Advertising: Schuler Bauer (Daiker and Crissy Riley)

Personal Care: Health Centered Weight Loss (Daiker and Lane)

Non-inserted Niche Publication: Seymour Chamber Directory (Staff) (Special publications)

Special Section Mini-Tab or Smaller: Jackson County 4-H Fair Days (Staff) (Special publications)

ROP Series or Campaign: Greemann’s Furniture (Daiker, Tina Ray and Amanda Waltz)

Best Digital Product: Winsupply of Seymour (Staff)

Special Events: Seymour CityJam (Waltz and Missy Bane)

Second-place awards went to:

Senior Care: Seymour Place Senior Living (Daiker and Lane)

Classified Advertising: AIM Media Indiana (Waltz and Chuck Wells)

Food and Beverage: Darlage Custom Meats (Daiker and Lawson)

Self-Promotion: AIM Digital (Waltz and Lane)

ROP Series or Campaign: Kathi Combs-Byrd (Daiker)

Innovation Award: Spring Contest (Daiker and staff)

Third-place awards were presented to:

Residential Services: Karen’s Family Upholstery (John Cole and Lawson)

Senior Care: Seymour Place Senior Living (Daiker and Lane)

Automotive Services: Bob Poynter (Jessica Dell and Lane)

Real Estate: Maximum Results (Daiker and Riley)
