Trinity extends winning streak

SHELBYVILLE — Trinity Lutheran’s season continued rolling on Wednesday, as they defeated Southwestern (Shelby) 25-17, 25-14, 25-18 in a match added to the schedule.

Hannah Sabotin had a strong night for Trinity, recording 16 kills, 11 digs and two aces for the Cougars. Kamzi Gross topped the Cougars with 21 digs and Bailey Reynolds totaled 32 assists.

The win marked the sixth straight for the Cougars. Trinity has also won 14 straight sets.

The Cougars (14-8) will go to Indianapolis Lutheran tonight.

Tigers fall to Lions

CROTHERSVILLE — Rock Creek Academy came away with a 25-17, 25-14, 25-18 win over Crothersville on Tuesday night.

Maddie Riley led the Tigers with 10 kills while going 10-for-10 on serves.

The Tigers (7-5) go to South Central tonight for a Southern Athletic Conference match.
