A free program, Spot the Con, will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Registration is required by Friday with a minimum of 10 participants.

Con artists are masters at stealing hard-earned money. Dawn Dove, the Better Business Bureau investigations and community outreach manager, will discuss how to spot scams before they happen and give tools and tips to walk away safely.
