The Jackson County Democrat Party’s central committee is planning a hog roast with all of the trimmings from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Brownstown.
Liz Watson, the party’s Ninth Congressional District candidate, will be the guest speaker. Other state and local candidates plan to attend.
The cost is $10 each.
