Central Christian Church is offering a class that will take an in-depth look at the history and science of the book of Genesis.

The study, open to everyone, will be from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday in the north room at the church, 1434 W. Second St., Seymour.

Topics will include evolution, natural selection, genetics, the origin of life, the fossil record, the geologic record, radiometric dating, cosmology, the age of the earth, dinosaurs and if there is even evidence that supports a global flood.

The study is designed to address and discuss the most common questions people have regarding the first 11 chapters of the book of Genesis.

If you already believe that the Bible is God’s Word, then this study is designed to strengthen your faith. If you are unsure Genesis is historically accurate or even relevant and would like to learn more about the intersection of science and theology in an interactive group setting, this study will not disappoint.

A meal will be served before each class from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays in the fellowship hall. Child care and transportation also are available.
