Cougars fall to No. 1 Twisters

While Trinity Lutheran held its own against the No.1-ranked team in Class A, the team wasn’t able to find the back of the net.

Oldenburg Academy scored two goals in each half to beat the Cougars 4-0 on Monday.

In goal, Brayden Stockelman recorded 12 saves for the Cougars.

Trinity (1-4) will go to Christian Academy of Indiana (New Albany) tonight.

GIRLS GOLF

Braves beat Bulldogs

BROWNSTOWN — Led by senior KaCee Collins’ medalist score of nine-over-par 44 strokes, Brownstown Central beat New Albany 205-216 on Monday at Hickory Hills Golf Club.

Lexie Sattherthwaite was next for the Braves at 50 while Ashlyn Fox carded 51 and Ashley Schorer shot 63 for BCHS.

The Braves go to Salem tonight.
