Daisy Florence McAdams, 88, of Seymour passed away Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.

Born June 13, 1930, in Nickle, Louisiana, she was born to the late Albert and Florence Currington Williamson.

On Feb. 23, 1951, in Bastrop, Louisiana, she married Roy McAdams. He preceded her in death Nov. 9, 2012. She was employed at the Hallmark store and also was a homemaker. She was of Baptist faith ,and her whole life was her family.

Survivors include her sons, Douglas (Kristie) McAdams, Garry McAdams, Steven (Diane) McAdams and Mitchell (Suzanne) McAdams; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Virgil (Jimmie) Williamson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; great-granddaughter, Joy Reynerson; sister, Dorothy Potts; and daughter-in-law, Sherry McAdams.

Private funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with the Rev. Bill Everhart officiating. Burial will follow in Bastrop, Louisiana, at a later date.

Memorials may be written to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Alzheimer’s Association in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
