Roscoe Roy Ratliff



ORLEANS – Roscoe Roy Ratliff, 76, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Indiana University Health Paoli Hospital.

Born October 6, 1941, in Columbus, Indiana, he was the son of Roscoe and Gladys (Pedicord) Ratliff.

Roscoe retired from the U. S. Air Force with 20 years of service. He held the rank of Master Sergeant and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, Presidential Unit Citation and Vietnam Service Medal. Roscoe was a member of the Brownstown Christian Church.

He is survived by his nieces, Elizabeth A. McCoy of Orleans, Teri Jacque Korb of Meriden, Connecticut, nephew Charles Haag of Tennessee, 16 great nieces and nephews and 18 great great nieces and nephews.

His parents and sisters, Joanne Mooneyham and Virginia Branigin, preceded him in death.

Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 18, at the Brownstown Christian Church. Burial will be later in Fairview Cemetery.
