Paul Matthew “Bud” Gregory, 80, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Covered Bridge Health Campus. He was born in Seymour on August 15, 1937 to the late Paul B. and Mary L. (Matthew) Gregory.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, August 18 after 9 am. A Masonic service will be held at 10:30 am immediately followed by a Memorial service with Rev. Larry Tingle officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.

He was a member of First Baptist Church, where he was baptized in 1947 by Dr. Cohn. He was a 50 plus year member of Masonic Lodge #146; having joined in 1963. He was a Kentucky Colonel, as well as a member of Scottish Rite, Murat Shrine, York Rite, Royal Arch Masons, Knights Templar and he was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was retired from the State of Indiana.

He is survived by his brothers, Dr. Richard (Marlene) Gregory, Russell (Judy) Gregory, Hubert (Betty) Gregory, Roland (Marsha) Gregory, Roger (Mary) Gregory, Marion Gregory, and Lynn Gregory; nieces and nephews, Richard Gregory II, David Gregory, Lisa Gregory Findley, James Gregory, Sara Gregory Keinath, Dwight Gregory, Doug Gregory, Robert Gregory, Joe Gregory, Michelle Gregory, David Bronk and Aymi Rusinowitz; as well as several great nieces and great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Linda Gregory; and nieces, Mary Jean Gregory and Susan Darlene Gregory.

Memorials may be written to Shriners Burns Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio or First Baptist Church, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
