Ms. Geneva Ruth Mulder, 91, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center with her children by her side. She was born in Indianapolis on August 9, 1927 to the late Claude and Dortha (Griffith) Dillon.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, August 18 at 10 am with Rev. Scott Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 4-8 pm and Saturday from 9 am until time of service.

She was a member of Reddington Christian Church. On December 31, 1945 in Indianapolis, she married the love of her life, Earl Mulder. She began her career at Capital Paper Company in Indianapolis, she was then a school cook at Cortland Elementary before working as a sales clerk at Taylor Drugs and Big Blue; she later retired from Dickson’s Bible Book Store. She was the happiest when she was with her family and enjoyed being a homemaker and farmers wife. She enjoyed crocheting, writing poems, sewing, small crafts, baking, roller coasters and traveling. At age 86, she competed in the D.A.R.E. Soap Box Derby and enjoyed all kinds of adventures.

She is survived by her children, Donald (Diane) Mulder, Donna (Bob) Toborg, David (Sue) Mulder and Dianna (Wayne) Ross; grandchildren, Tim (Brenda) Toborg, Tammy (David) Claycamp, Tisha (Jim) Krueger, Doug (Sheila) Toborg, Shannon (Karrie) Mulder, April Mulder, Melanie (Casey) Ritz, Dan (Carrie) Ross, Jenny (Troy) Engelau and Becky (Chris) Miller; 19 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Janie (Bob) Lowry; and several very close and special friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Irma Tansel, Doris Martin, Mildred “Sug” Richards and William “Bud” Dillon.
