Owls beat Bulldogs
SELLERSBURG — Seymour looked sharp in its first nine-hole competition of 2018.
After combining for 393 on 18 holes on Saturday in Bedford, the Owls carded a cool 175, beating New Albany’s 231, at Covered Bridge Golf Course on Monday.
Owls junior Bridget Marshall was medalist, shooting a 3-over-par 36. Madeleine Wisler and Kara Rice each scored 44s, Laken Waskom shot a 48 and Rylee Knutson totaled 55 for the Owls.
Marshall and Rice each recorded personal bests on the evening.
Seymour will compete in the Providence Invitational on Saturday.
