Mr. Gene Washam, 88, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in Connersville, Indiana on April 20, 1930 to the late Kenneth E. and Ruth (Gardner) Washam.

A committal service will be held at Indiana Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Madison on Friday, August 3, at 2:30 pm with Rev. Larry Arrowood officiating. Full military rites will follow.

He was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Tabernacle. He was retired from Cummins Engine Company.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret Washam; children, Don Washam, Wayne Washam and Lucinda (Joe) Wilson; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Jack (Kay) Washam.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
