JCB recently announced Brian Chastain has been promoted to assistant vice president, special assets.

He joined JCB in July 2007, and his hard work and extensive organizational and detail-oriented skills have previously earned him two promotions, said Mary Ellen Jaynes, senior vice president.

“I am pleased to see Brian’s years of diligent work and his always professional demeanor rewarded with this promotion,” Jaynes said.

A graduate of Indiana University, Chastain has completed a wide range of training courses specific to special assets.

He is a current board member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church Foundation and has served as the treasurer of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the church council.

He has been a longtime supporter and teacher for the Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce’s 21st Century Business program and is a Leadership Jackson County graduate.
