Clifford “Kip” and Kathryn Sierp of Seymour celebrated their 70th anniversary July 3 by renewing their wedding vows at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Ralph Blomenberg officiating.

Their family was in attendance as well as a special guest, Rachel Geraci.

The Rev. Philip Bloch, the Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez, Vicar Coleman Geraci and Blomenberg joined in with singing “Beautiful Savior” during the ceremony, ending with the doxology.

Clifford and the former Kathryn Terkhorn were married July 3, 1948, at St. Paul Lutheran Church Wegan. The Rev. E.F. Urbahns officiated.

“It was only by God’s grace that we were given these many years to enjoy together, and we are eternally grateful to him,” the couple said.
