Sauers Extension Homemakers Club met July 10 at Brownstown Dairy Queen with Doris Stahl as hostess.
Present were nine members and one guest, Norma Sue Pollert.
Dolores Eggersman gave a health and safety lesson on hay fever and pollen.
Mildred Fenneberg read a citizenship lesson.
Get well cards had been sent to Margie Nash and Alvin Stahl.
Members enjoyed a card game and Grace Stuckwisch received the hostess gift.
The annual picnic will be at 6 p.m. Aug. 10 at at the shelter house at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Brownstown. Members are to bring a dish, lawn chair, table service and drink.
Members also are asked to bring an item for the silent auction.
