The Jackson County Public Library board of trustees received a report from Crothersville coordinator Cindy Huckleberry when they met Monday at the Crothersville Library.
Board Vice President Kathy Ellis lead the meeting where the board approved staff changes; an after-hours teen lock-in on Sept. 7 at the Seymour Library; personnel policy changes, and the personnel committee report with a recommendation to budget a 3 percent increase in salaries in 2019.
The board’s budget committee will meet Aug. 9 to create a preliminary 2019 operating budget.
The board’s next regular meeting is at 5 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Seymour Library.
