Allan and Mary Ellen Snyder of Seymour celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 14.

Allan and the former Mary Ellen Kerkhof were married July 14, 1968, at White Creek United Methodist Church in Bartholomew County.

They are the parents of Scott (Amy) Snyder and Susan Snyder. They have three grandsons, Jeremy, Cory and T.J. Snyder.

Mary Ellen is a homemaker and a member of Seymour City Extension Homemakers Club.

Allan is retired from HP Products and J.C. Groub Warehouse and is presently driving cars for Bob Poynter Chevrolet.

Both are members of Zion Lutheran Church in Seymour.
