Mr. James F. Grace, 79, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Seymour Crossing. He was born in Selina, Tennessee on November 2, 1938 to the late Albert and Mary (Harris) Grace.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, July 13 at 1 pm with Pastor Albert Stormes officiating. Burial will follow at Uniontown Cemetery.

Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from 4-8 pm and on Friday from 12 noon until time of service.

He was married to Betty Lou Clark, mother of his seven children, on May 4, 1956; after 46 years of marriage, she passed away on October 16, 1999. On August 17, 2011 he married Joan Allman Haws. He was a long distance truck driver for 42 years. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and was a logger for himself. He loved spending time with his family

James is survived by his wife; children, Cindy Harris, Bonnie Grace, Betty Douglas, Sarah Freeman, Jim “Jimbo” Grace, Marybell Mason and Albert “Bert” Grace; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Grace as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife; brothers, Louis Grace and Larry Grace; and sisters, Sarah Zimmerman, Marie Breed, Bonnie Chrivia and Bessie Dillion.
