The team of Jim Doolan, Craig Moore, Ron Zike and Kenny Brooks combined to score 57 and take first place in the 38th annual Dr. “Bud” Graessle Golf Scramble on June 27 at Shadowood Golf Course in Seymour.
Warren Forgey, president and CEO of Schneck Medical Center and tournament chairman, reported 181 golfers participated in the event to raise funds for the Dr. “Bud” Nursing Scholarship Fund.
The following teams were awarded golf prizes
First place, (57) Jim Doolan, Craig Moore, Ron Zike and Kenny Brooks
Second place, (58) Brandon Goecker, Mark Henley, George Covey and Allen Mikles
Third place, (59) Brock Thoele, Kyle Tibbles, Nick Logan and Brian Lassiter
Fourth place, (60) Shawn Marshall, Brian Tormoehlen, Greg Hinton and Tom Hinton
Fifth place, (60) Scott Shishman, William Whitlow, Reagan Eakins and Ray Eakins
Longest drive men, Hole 18, Brock Thoele
Longest drive women, Hole 9, Tammy Jones
Closest to pin women, Hole 13, Lisa Zike
Closest to pin men, Hole 2, Jim Doolan
Longest putt men, Hole 5, Adam Kain
Longest putt women, Hole 5, Melanie Hehman
All proceeds from the scramble provide scholarships for registered nursing and nurse practitioner students in Jackson, Jennings, Scott and Washington counties.
