Bartholomew County first responders have been sent to a possible drowning at Lutheran Lake near Lake Road and Hickory Court, which is near the Bartholomew/Jackson county line.

Initial reports are the female, who is believed to be a resident who lives at the lake, is out of the water and resuscitation efforts are underway. Lifeline helicopter has been requested.

Lutheran Lake is near Camp Lakeview, which is a Lutheran camp and retreat center. The incident does not involve any campers at Camp Lakeview, officials there said.
