A free Junior Birder program for youth in grades 3 and 4 will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon July 10 and 12 at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.

The class will involve learning activities covering the basics of birdwatching and field trips to practice birding skills.

The program will take place at the refuge visitor center. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
