Help us collect school supplies for kids in the county

Help us help a good cause.

The Tribune has a drop-off box in the lobby of our office, 100 St. Louis Ave., Seymour, for people to place school supplies in to go toward the Jackson County United Way’s Rock’n Ready initiative.

The top five needs are dry erase markers, 1-inch three-ring binders, scissors (blunt and sharp), pencil boxes and backpacks.

Other items needed include No. 2 pencils, colored pencils, Elmer’s gluesticks, folders, pencil bags, notebooks, rulers, square erasers, red, black and blue ink pens and loose leaf paper.

Items will be accepted through July 18.

Thanks for your support!
