Medicare Simplified, a program to simplify the Medicare enrollment process, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 23 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 504 N. Walnut St., Seymour.

The program is for those who are considering enrolling in Medicare and trying to make a decision about where to start while likely getting bombarded with mail and trying to figure out coverage options, according to a news release from Schneck Medical Center.

As part of the Changing Places series, Schneck Foundation and JCB are presenting the seminar.

Scott Donohue with Medicare Simplified will provide important information on issues regarding Medicare choices, including:

  • Information on when and how to enroll in Medicare
  • Details on all of the components of Medicare
  • How to review and make changes to current coverage
  • Examples of Medicare costs
  • The impact of the Affordable Care Act on Medicare

A complimentary dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m.

To make a reservation for this free program, email Cora Laymon at [email protected] or call 812-524-4245.
