Dennis E. Wright, 72, of Brownstown, IN, passed away at 4:10 PM on Monday, June 11, 2018 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Born May 11, 1946 in Lima, OH, to the parents of Cleatus Wright and Betty (Burkholder) Collins. Dennis was raised as a child by Bob and Ruth Brautigam and as a teenager by Herm Rotert and Victor and Louise Meyer.

Dennis retired from Delphi Electronics in Kokomo, IN and Stone Container in Columbus, IN as the maintenance supervisor. He was baptized into the Christian faith, enjoyed car shows, IU basketball and NASCAR. In 2012 Dennis was the recipient of a single lung transplant which he was very thankful for that extended his life many years.

He is survived by a daughter, Lesli (Charlie) Stevens of Brownstown, IN and a son, David (Lisa) Wright, of Seymour, IN, 9 grandchildren, Jacob Stevens, Jordan Stevens, Michael Stevens, Domanic Stevens, Tiessa Stevens, Brandan Back, Cody Back, Megan Back, and Seth Pickett, and 2 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Loretta (Gary) Edwards of Pandora, OH, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a baby son, Robert Eugene Wright, 2 sisters Barbara Kilmer, and Virginia Fifer.

A family directed memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Randy King at 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 17, 2018 with visitation from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Tampico Christian Church.

Memorial donations in honor of Dennis may be made to Tampico Christian Church.

Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with cremation services for Dennis.
