A boil water advisory is in effect for the 600-plus customers of Village Green Mobile Home Park, 825 S. O’Brien St., Seymour.

The advisory was put into effect after the water had to be shut off for the repair of a leak on Thursday, said Pat Fosbrink with Natural Public Supply.

Fosbrink, the office manager of the utility that supplies water to the mobile home park, said the advisory will remain in effect until lab results are returned in the early to middle part of next week.

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management requires boil water advisories be put in place in such cases, she said.
