The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for parts of south central Indiana, including Jackson County.

The watch is set to expire at 6 p.m.

Threats include lime-sized hail (two inches), gusts of wind up to 70 miles per hour and frequent lightning, according to the National Weather Service.
