Seymour Community School Corp. will be offering a free summer food service program again this year.

The program is perfect for busy families, athletes and babysitters and is designed to make summer a stress-free time of food, friends and fun, according to a news release from the corporation.

Students do not have to register or fill out an application. All children and teens up to age 18, regardless of family income, may eat breakfast and lunch for free, either at Margaret R. Brown Elementary School at 550 Miller Lane or Seymour Middle School at 920 N. O’Brien St.

The program will run from June 4 to July 27. Hours for breakfast will be 8 to 10 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be no meals served July 4.

Adults can eat with children but must pay $2 for breakfast and $3 for lunch.
