Columbus campus offering 3D printing workshop

Area students and adults are invited to join Purdue Polytechnic Columbus for a five-day three-dimensional printing workshop from 9 a.m. to noon May 21 through 25 at the AMCE building 4444 Kelly St., Columbus.

The workshop will be led by Purdue Polytechnic Columbus faculty member Matt Ferrill. Those enrolled in the workshop will learn how to build their own 3D printer.

The $400 workshop fee includes all course content, 3D printer materials and software and accessories. Participants will be able to take home the printer and software at the end of the workshop for their personal use.

Enrollment is open through May 18 at purdue.edu/columbus. Participants should be at least 12 years old. An adult is required to attend the workshop with a child enrolled who is under 18.
