The Indiana State Police has reported a man that was missing Tuesday has been located safe.

On Tuesday night, Tommy Dale Allman was located safe in Florida, according to a news release from Sgt. Jerry Goodin with the Sellersburg Post.

Police initially said Allman, 78, was traveling to visit family and was last heard from at 7:33 a.m. Tuesday when he was en route from Scottsburg to Columbus. He had been last seen driving a silver 2007 Buick Lucerne with a Florida license plate of MAK724.
